Our Top Four Weatherford Valentine Hot Spots

Head's up guys! Valentine's day is THIS THURSDAY and despite what she may say, your wife/girlfriend/significant other/mother/sister etc. wants you to do something nice. And ladies, if you're taking the initiative and making the plans, or getting together with your gal pals to celebrate galentine's, we've got you covered, too. Here's our list of four local love spots you should definitely consider.

DAY DATE

A patio, a restaurant, and a car museum. For a day date that's different, our vote goes to Vintage Grill. Grab a bite and a drink, enjoy the (hopefully nice) weather, and then check out all the cars they have on display. P.S. the museum is FREE, so if you're trying to be frugal, this is a must do!

A NIGHT OUT ON THE SQUARE

Brand new to Weatherford and just in time for Valentine's, Downtown Cantina has been killing it from day one! What more do we need to say, other than tacos. Oh, and queso. And margs. And they're open late. So put those babies to bed and call the sitter, then head on out to 105 College Ave. on the square for a tex-mex Valentine date you won't forget!

DINNER AND A SHOW

If you're wanting to try something where you can eat AND be entertained, you've GOT to give Otani a try. We happened upon them a couple of weeks ago on their first night open and all I have to say is wow. The chefs really put on an amazing show, the food was awesome and the service was great. Is there a better way to say I love you (or I really like you) than a flaming onion volcano? We think not.

AN ANTI-VALENTINE

If you aren't really feeling the whole mushy gushy thing this year, Shep's is absolutely the place for you. Our fave burger joint is celebrating Singles Awareness Day, and for the SAD party will have a shredder at the door to get rid of any pesky Ex pictures, specialty SAD pint glasses, and contests and giveaways. Plus, if everyone there is single... maybe you'll end the night with a Valentine after all! And if you love the folks at Shep's but happen to be happily in love, try out Saltwater's special Valentine's menu!
